Happy Reunion

One of the beautiful aspects of being a wedding photographer, is that you get to become part of some exceptional families.  Such is the case with the Rodrigue family, whom I had the chance to be part of both their daughters, Alanna and Lisa, weddings.  It is such a pleasure to see how they have grown when we get together for a family session.

It Couldn't Have Been Better

Sara and Shawn had chosen their ideal site at Code's Mill Inn and Stewart Park in Perth to celebrate their wedding.  Over a year and a half in planning, it was evident from the beginning that they had put a great deal of creativity and planning into this day.  The location and weather was ideal and it just could not have been better in way.  A wedding to remember!

The Mulligan Family

Family portrait sessions allow me to reconnect with people that I have shared special times with.  In this case it was an opportunity for the family to gather in honor of Ian's __th birthday.  I have had the opportunity to photograph the great horses owned by Mary and Ian, portraits of Mary for her retirement portrait from teaching, the weddings of their daughters Rhonda and Shoanna and family gatherings in honor of Mary's mother.  One is always surprised at how much time has elapsed and how much the family has grown and expanded.  The constant though is the family banter with many laughs and the co-operation that the family has always shown me.

Tallman Family

Families will tell you that the most difficult thing in today's society is to get all the family together at one time.  Our lives are so super organized with commitments that it is often the family that is left to the last consideration.  Gerald and Louise were determined and we had a great experience photographing their family and extended families.

Chemistry

One cannot determine what makes a couple "click", but when they do, it is obvious to everyone.  Such is the chemistry that France and Mike showed to all that attended their intimate wedding at Carleton Golf and Yacht Club on August 26, 2011.  The soft touches, the special moments planned and the abundance of laughter and smiles made me feel priviledged to be part of this special day.
