Happy Birthday Charlie!

Today, December 29th is the first birthday for our puppy "Charlie". Charlie came to us as a fuzzy little bundle in Mid March. His expressive eyes and alertness were early signs of a "character", which he has turned out to be. Much love and attention has been expressed in both directions and we feel fortunate to have this special little Welsh Corgi.

The Art of Christmas

Just as "Homes For The Holidays" and the Mill Street Christmas Open House are the signals for me that Christmas is coming, rounding the corner in the beautiful village of Oxford Mills and seeing the front porch of the Brigadoon lit with Christmas sparkle and greenery confirms that Christmas is on its way.

Cheryl, owner of the Brigadoon manages to create a cozy cocoon to slide away into and enjoy the ambiance of the Brigadoon with a glass of wine.  Add to that beautifully prepared and presented food and you have a special Christmas experience.

Ted and I will be enjoying the joy of the season with our New Years Eve meal at this "gem in the country"!
