Taking Time To Enjoy Excellence

One always seems to be in a hurry in daily life, missing the moments of brilliance and excitement.  A trip to Saratoge NY always allows me a step into the past.  This summer, I ventured for a day to the Walnut Hill Carriage Driving Competition.  The fact that some excellent horses and drivers from this area participated, made it even more exciting.  The chance to see Mark Schofield from Glenmore Farms, Ohio, whom I had photographed in Southern Pines, NC was icing on the cake.  As Ted always said, "No Regrets!".  So pleased that I took the time.

The Big One

Joshua celebrated a "significant" birthday.  The big number ONE.  Having had the opportunity to photograph him from three months on, I have enjoyed capturing the transition from little boy to little man.  The constant has been the happy disposition and the "killer" smile that endears him to everyone.

A Reason To Celebrate

Liz had a significant birthday and this gave the entire family an opportunity to share, remember and have fun.  It is so difficult to get everyone available at one time, that they decided to also have some family photos.  Great idea and most enjoyable.  Congratulations Liz.

eQuinelle Hosts The Flagstick BMG Cup

The eQuinelle Golf Course has been a great addition to the community and lifestyle of Kemptville and surrounding area.  July 27/28 saw them host the Flagstick BMG Cup.  From beginning to end it was a classy well executed tournament with excellent competition.  What else would you expect?

What Fun!

Through all the years of photographing weddings, I have met some genuine and wonderful people.  The family of Mike Hogan is a perfect example.  Having photographed the weddings of both his daughters, Sara and Bridget I appreciated the calm and loving support of their dad, Mike.  It was a great opportunity to photograph his "new expanded family".  With eight grandchildren ranging from 17 days to under 8 years of age it was an exciting challenge.
