They Won't Be Little Long

Keith and Kris brought little Kane for his newborn session.  I wanted to capture the "smallness" of a newborn baby so that they can look back years from now and say, "I can't believe I was that LITTLE!"  Another week and he would not have fit into Keith's fire helmet.  They grow and change so fast!

Hands Full

Two children came to the studio today, one a three week old, Bridget and the other a one year old, DJ.  The bouncing blond curls of DJ reminded me of my two grandchildren. The perfect complexion and softness of Bridget made me want to just hug her.  To say that their lovely mother has her "hands full" is an understatement, but oh what a blessing to have two such beautiful children.

 

A Miracle

Although we do not always know "The Plan", I am convinced that there is one for all of us.  I experienced the happiest of moments when Keith and Kristina sent me a text message to say that at 2:03 AM, April 6th a baby boy, Kane Edward had been born weighing 7lbs 4oz.  Everyone was healthy and doing well.  That this miracle of life happened on Ted's birthday was more than I could hope for.  Forever we will be able to celebrate grandpa and Kane's birthday together.
